Given that my blogging is a bit less than serious these days, I've been questioning whether I need to keep paying an annual fee to use Typepad. I follow a couple of people who use Tumblr for their blogs, and in investigating it I found that it seems to have all the functionality I need for the right price - which means that it's free.
I'm going to try posting both places for a while to see how I like it, but it may be that Thoughts Made Bald here metamorphoses into Bald Thoughts there. I even found a template that appeals to me - I'm not 100% satisfied with its look aesthetically, but since I have full control over the HTML I will probably be able to tweak it to my liking.
